Top 5 Gangsta Rap Songs by Indian Rappers

Swag is for Boys, Class is for Nerds
Indians have really taken to Rapping in the past half a decade or so and it's clear that Gangsta Rap clearly had an influence on some of them. Indian Gangsta Rappers have continued the controversial themes that emerged in the Coastal Rap Scene even as these rappers battle with their daily struggles of copping a tenner from their Mom's purse to buy that pack of weed. To those who criticize them and their art, they say that they are highly misunderstood because the critics do not want to understand their pain of failing in English in the 6th standard. Their claim is that Indian Gangsta Rap brings out the inherent contradictions in the Indian society by exposing the poor bandwidth and slow internet connections, despite their 'privileged' status. This poor state of affairs of these rapper's music videos is mainly because of this 'connectivity' deprivation, because of which they are forced to bring down the production quality and content in order to get better uploading speeds.

So, in a bid to shatter this 'brown kid' supremacy that conspiratorially seeks to ghettoize the music about that Indian gangster life, I have put together a list of 5 top Gangsta Rap songs by Indian Rappers, to bring to them the lime-light they deserve.
