An Unbeknownst Dream

Tidal Memories, rise and recede
foams froth a newborn's feet
warming wispery silhouettes
battling a sinking sun; a maudlin duet
whether to splash or make salt?
inter-linked thoughts struggle to halt.
focused on the needle's vanishing eye
that pulls me like a magnetic prize
through the wormhole of timed illussions
passing me by with silent suspicions.
encircled by eyes horrified
and brimming with scary conspiracies.
eyebrows strung back ready to fire,
tensed at the temple's peripheries.
a balled up cocoon in cottony days
entombed in a lava of hopes
donning a uniformed sentinel's embrace
when pushed off the crawling rope.

a father's sins can be a blessing
or a curse on the dawn of conscience.
a mynah's child unaware must sing;
wings take flight, not in the wrong sense.
wheedling spoors out of tomorrows
to smell out what can be put in store.
inheritance of mankind, a cosmic sorrow
that juggernauts through mind's core
and connect muscles and fibers
to create a cinematographic mesh.
arms extend to grasp tighter,
merely results in flesh touching flesh.

I stay in a home that is not mine,
how can I move in my cobwebs?
uncomfortable like a 3 minutes guest,
eager to leave within the limited time,
a blind heart moves through ether
feeling the air in borrowed skin.
the streets I roam like caesar,
but life is a posthumous kingdom akin.
a molecule bag with an amoebic aspiration,
phantasmagoria of abstract thoughts;
perhaps the universe is my imagination
since I am the space in which I am lost.
wishing I'd wake up just once and for ever
and strip clothes in humongous masquerades
be one with them laughing together,
this party being an unbeknownst dream
before everyone learns to be awake.
