Who is this mysterious Anonymous Uncle?
The Mysterious anonymous uncle is your uncle that is present everywhere like The Matrix. Their presence confounds you. They are ubiquitous and are blessed with a ready-reckoner on how to live your life. The Anonymous Uncle is the wise one. He has surpassed his mid-life crisis and now enjoys life to the fullest, so much that he is willing to share with you, every bit of interesting snippet from his own experience.

So, what makes him so wise?
The anonymous uncle has had the benefit of enjoying two worlds altogether, which our generation or the generation before these uncles (if they still are around), will hardly ever get to experience. They lived in times when modern technology was some geek’s wet-dream, when bill gates probably used to shag about operating systems such as Windows 98. They also have had the benefit of being mature witnesses to times when the same technological marvels get cursed for bugs by 6 year olds. They have had the good fortune of gaining a very wide perspective to life.

How is he my Uncle?
Oh well, In India, Uncle is more a respectful way of addressing any man who is old enough to be your dad, but young enough to be not your grandpa. Btw, to correct you, he is not “your” uncle. He is everyone’s uncle. He does not restrict his wisdom exclusively to you, as it is available to anyone who desires it or is “lucky” enough to fall in the middle of a random sermon by an anonymous Uncle!

Where are these uncles to be found?
These Anonymous Uncles can be found everywhere right from public transports, malls, queues, banks, public gardens and sometimes.....at night clubs too!

Should I be afraid of these Uncles?
Hell, no. They are the most harmless beings ever on earth, who now in that point of their lives, are mindful only of their clock-work existence. Closer proximity to any of these uncles leaves you looking twice as wise and half as confused. The pearls of wisdom they regularly drop at any place can easily decorate the Queen’s Necklace a thousand times over.

How can I identify one?
You don’t have to identify them. They will identify you. They will determine if you need guidance in your life or not. You just have to talk and you will be identified early enough by them. Is not that just supremely awesome? You don’t even have to make an effort to look for one!
